Welcome in Sibiel - Sibiu's Boundness - Agrotouristic Pension - Sibiel's Chalet

The Sibiel village is dated from year 700 a.C., settlement populated with shepherds was placed on Utea's Valley. Around years 1200-1300 a.C. they start to build houses on the coast of Sibiel river, houses being raised from pine and beech beams. Around year 1800 a.C. they start to build brick houses manufactured by handicraftsmen chambers from Cristian and Amnasi. Because of frecventtly overflowings, it was necessary to dyke the river. Beauty spot is the "Icons on Glass Museum" unique like exibits's dimension in Europe. Still unique are the rustically households, populated on our times by old peoples whitch deal with breeding horned cattle, sheeps, courtyard animals, birds. To earn their's living they set up orchards with romanian authentic fruits like age od sorts for over 100 years, sorts with an special taste and flavour. Some apple sorts presents medical attributes, being consumed to remedied stomach diseses, sugar diabetes, etc. The Sibiel village is placed at 21 km from Sibiu, the connection is made by a section of 17 km of european road Sibiu-Cluj and 4 km of county road.
